Furthur Festival fun
MK & Jemimah Puddleduck played the Furthur Festival in Angel’s Camp, CA over the weekend. Friday night, MK joined Furthur in a late night All Star Jam, singing and playing guitar on “Sugaree” with Jackie Greene on bass, Jeff Chimenti on keys, and Bob Weir on rhythm guitar/vocals.
Saturday, JP played the acoustic stage with friends Larry Campbell (*fiddle) and Teresa Williams (#vocals):
It takes a lot to laugh It takes a train to cry, i wish i knew how, don’t let go, think it’s gonna rain, easy wind, she *, bait the hook, rock your papa, the weight *#
Following JP’s set, MK joined Jackie Greene on Lou Reed’s “Waitin’ for my Man”. Check out this video of the guitar madness that ensued.
And before all that, JP played the Ashkenaz in Berkeley last week:
Set 2: Easy Wind, Sugaree, Lazin on a Sunny Afternoon>Tiko Tiko, Leave a Light On, Time Will Tell, Fear, Hate, Envy, Jealousy, Highway 61
* Bob Gross vocals
