For those attending the NAMM show in LA this weekend, I’ll be at the Tone Pros booth at 11:30am on Saturday 1/15.  Tone Pros make great bridges and parts.  I use their components on a lot of my guitars – their stuff really works, and they’re great people.  Come by and say hi!

MK joined a host of other special guests to celebrate Jackie Greene’s 30th Birthday at the Fillmore in SF Saturday Night.  MK joined Jackie’s band in the first set for Shaken, Tell Me Mama, and Ball and Chain, then rejoined an allstar band of Phil Lesh, John Molo, Jorgen Carlson, Nathan Dale, Niki & Tim Bluhm, and Jackie in the third set.  MK and Jackie traded verses on After Midnight and Highway 61, and the set morphed into a Beatles and Grateful Dead filled setlist of killer jams.  What a great way to celebrate such a milestone.  Thanks for all the fun to the Jackie Greene Band, the crew, and the Fillmore staff for a great show.

We are very grateful for all the support, love, friendship and community that has been offered to us in 2010.  You came out to shows, you bought cds, you encouraged friends to listen, you carried our gear, you drove us to the airport, you put us up in your home, you watched our dogs while we worked, you brought visual delights to our shows, you flyered, you emailed us to say you were still listening!  And all of this doesn’t go by unnoticed. WE GIVE THANKS TO YOU, our crew, our fans, our friends.  Without you, it wouldn’t be possible.  Thanks! Gracias! Mahalo! Grazie!  Enjoy your holiday…..

Builders and Bands for Humanity is the combined effort of the Tampa Bay Builder’s Association and like-minded recording artists with a joint desire to make a difference in the construction and housing situation of those less fortunate.  More information here.
